Dear Evan Hansen first opened in Washington DC in 2015. The following year it made a short award winning Off-Broadway appearance before opening on Broadway in December 2016. With a book by Steve Levenson and music by Pasek & Paul, it tells the story of Evan Hansen, a high school senior with social anxiety disorder, who becomes involved in the turmoil following a classmate’s death. Touching, funny and hugely original, fingers crossed Dear Evan Hansen will announce a West End opening in the near future.
